Hello humans of the internet! Are you still trying to think of a Christmas gift for someone? I decided to make a list of Christmas gift ideas.
Hello humans of the internet! Since I’m decorating for Christmas I can’t neglect my plants.
Hello humans of the internet! I had a lot of fun putting this together. It’s on my bed, but I think it would be cute on a couch. I meant to post this earlier but I got distracted by laundry and cleaning and being an adult (also playing video games a little.)
Hello humans of the internet! I went to the store because groceries and of course because I was bored I played the claw machine. It’s not that exciting of a blog post. I got groceries and played the claw machine and won! Now I have a super soft polar bear. It is stained with red on the back which is the exact same color as the red Santa that it was leaning on. I’m assuming that it had something to do with the color and the machine being in the sun. It’s a super cute polar bear and it matches some of Christmas decorations. I will wash it when I get home and see if the stain comes out.
Hello humans of the internet! Yes, I’m decorating one tiny room for Christmas and I’m basically doing one little space at a time. Today the decoration area is the bookshelf (it’s secretly a night stand).
Hello Humans of the internet! I’ve decided to make a coupe of DIY type posts about making Christmas decorations this year. I also feel like I should post those now if you actually want to make them for your decorations because you would need to make them before you decorate and I think most people start decorating after Thanksgiving. At least most people in the US. I don’t know when you decorate. Decorate whenever it makes you happy.
On to the gnomes. Personally, I love gnomes, not specifically Christmas gnomes. I have a small collection of tiny gnomes for my house plants. Back when I was either in middle or high school, I made some pinecone gnomes, which I need to see if I still have. Today, I’m making felt gnomes. It’s pretty easy all you will need is
- hot glue
Then, cute out one triangle, and one square, I used red, green, and blue felt for all of my gnomes. You will also need an oval of a tan color felt.
Glue some yarn to the bottom of the triangle and cut the loops.
Then glue the triangle and square together, you can cut little rounded edges on the bottom of the square but I don’t really feel like it matters.
Then glue on the nose.
Now, you see how fast and easy it is to make a gnome and if you’re like me and have too much felt you can make some. At least I don’t have too much felt. Now I have too many gnomes. I will update this when I know what to do with them.
Hello humans of the internet! It’s finally Halloween! I had plans for the day. I was going to wake up early to do my makeup, put on my bat costume, dress up Peggy and take pictures before work. But if you remember, I’ve been sick, so I slept in, went on the shortest walk Peggy has ever experienced and got to work with no makeup, but at least I had cat ears on.
Then I hung out with a coworker’s baby. (Don’t worry, my sickness isn’t contagious) She was dressed as a butterfly, it was adorable.
My coworker and I made a sticker for my suitcase.
When I got home, while I was getting Peggy’s Halloween costume out, she pooped inside for the first time since she was 2 months old. Last time she pooped in the house she was only 10 lbs. In the least graphic way possible, she pooped so much it took 2 large poop bags to pick it up. 2. And she didn’t just poop in the house. She pooped on my momma’s rug.
So, no she doesn’t have a cute picture of her Halloween outfit. She is in time out. Well not anymore, but now I’m tired from cleaning the rug.
Anyway, Halloween has been fun. But, I’m honestly ready to get ready for Christmas. Which is the scariest thing this year. I’ve become a mildly sentimental adult that enjoys the joyful spirit surrounding Christmas. I think we can all blame Schulz.
