Hello humans of the internet! My name is Anna Katherine. I’m a 22-year-old recent college graduate and I’m a Dys-Adventurer. What does that mean? Glad you asked, that is the word that I came up with a few years ago for a person going through life with any sort of disability. My disability is dyslexia, which for anyone that doesn’t know, that’s a learning disability affecting the way a person processes written language. I started this blog in 2015 because I want people to know that Dys-Adventurers are people just like everyone else. This is a safe place where you can come to be yourself, whoever you are because you are amazing. So, go out and be weird, challenge what’s called normal.

Love reading about you! Praying for you! God loves you!

Thanks for the visit. I taught at an art college for 25 years and then “developmental”English at a community college. I have had many many dyslexic students with far ranging challenges. I look forward to reading your blog.
