Highs, Lows, and Uh-ohs January 2018

Hello Humans of the internet!  It’s the end of another month!  We’re 1/12 of the way through the year.  I think, I’m bad at math.  The end of another month means that it’s time for my to write another post of highs, lows, and uh-ohs.  (I would like to add that I thought that I had posted this yesterday, but here I am today, posting it on Thursday instead of Wednesday and on the first to February instead of the last of January.  Oh well.)

It has honestly been a pretty good month.  I haven’t had too many lows.

Highs

  1. telling the human that I like that I like him.  That was a really great decision.
  2. human that I like also liking me.

Side note to everyone in high school, who assumes that when they’re older they’ll be good at asking people out and going on a first date.  It will always be stressful.  It will never be easy.  (If you are one of those magical humans that isn’t like this, congrats you are better at humaning than I).

3. I interviewed some really awesome people (some I’ve already posted and some that I haven’t)

4. I made a new friend!

Lows

  1. I spent thirty minutes checking and double checking the spelling of the word Sheriff and still spelled it wrong on the back of a shirt for the police department.
  2. being approximately 2300 miles away from my person.  (I’m sorry I’m talking about him so much.  My family is getting tired of hearing about him).

Uh-ohs

  1. I spent thirty minutes checking and double checking the spelling of the word Sheriff and still spelled it wrong on the back of a shirt for the police department.
  2. I accidentally killed a bamboo plant because someone told me it was aquatic and I’ve been keeping it in a fish tank.
  3. I tried to wear fake nails and accidentally glued them to my skin and then caught one on something and it ripped off and it hurt really bad.

It was a really good month.  Did everyone else have a good month?  What are your highs, lows, and uh-ohs?

much love

  1. High; Buying a tree I’d always wanted for our garden 😉
Low; January. Just January. Always struggle with the start of a new year, that ‘here we go again’ feeling 😦
Uh-Oh; Deciding to walk to work in the snow, which turned to rain, so I got there covered in mud :/ !
P.S. Have given you a mention in my latest post 😉

  2. The high was definitely taking my grandkids to see Paddington 2 and getting an enormous bag of popcorn and enjoying ourselves thoroughly. The low as the temperatures at the beginning of the month. I am sure there were uh-ohs, but I have conveniently forgotten them.

      1. It is really good, especially Hugh Grant as the villain. My grandchildren went to humor me since they are “too old”(at 8 and 10). But once I understood they were sacrificing to make me happy I noticed they loved the movie.
