Happy October

Hello Humans of the internet!  It’s Wednesday!  Yes, I know that I didn’t post on Monday of this week and that’s because I was having such an amazing weekend, I didn’t have time to make a post.

What all happened this weekend that made me forget about my blog for about four days you ask?  Well a lot.

On Thursday night, my older brother flew in from Missouri and we had to go to the air port to pick him up at midnight.  We didn’t get home until super late.  (My boss let me come in late on Friday because he agrees that family is important.  And I got all my work done early.)  I didn’t get to spend tons of time with my brother as he didn’t actually come home to see us, he came home to be in his best friend’s wedding.  (I didn’t go, but the pictures were beautiful).

On Saturday, my sister’s subscription box came in (I don’t know which one she gets, it’s make-up themed).  It usually super fun when the box comes because you never know what kind of stuff is going to be in it.  This time there was an excellently red lip stain.  It was beautiful so naturally, I had to try it.  But then I reacted and my lips swelled up and I had to take benadryl.  Now, most people get really sleepy when the take allergy meds.  For some reason, they make me really hyper, so I went to the store and bought some more Halloween stuff.

On Sunday, we woke up early and drove my brother back to the airport.  (I had to get up at 4 am.  I am not a morning person.)  When we got home, my sister went to go work in her class room and I stayed at home.  It was a very relaxing day.  I played some Undertale (a superb game) and then I cut off my hair.

On Monday, I, like most people woke up to the horrible new about shooting in Las Vegas.  It’s so hard to wrap your brain abound the thought of that actually happening.  I’ll try not to dwell on it too much in this post.  Just know that if you are personally affected, I’m praying for you.  I don’t know if  that means anything to you, but I am.

Much love, AK

    1. Yeah. I did. I actually took pictures but was waiting to make a full post about it until after I got it fixed up. Turns out, giving yourself a pixie cut isn’t always the best idea. Lol
